The study of this curricular unit seeks to achieve greater knowledge of three major sectors of the Christian liturgical celebration, namely:

1. Sacred mystery of the Eucharist: fundamental structure, genesis and meaning of the main rites, Eucharistic prayer, etc .;

2. Liturgy of the Hours: constitutive elements and their articulation in each Hour, theological foundation and characteristics specific of its specificity;

3. Roman liturgical books: for the celebration of the Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours.
