History of Christianity Modern and Contemporary

1. To master the problematic of Christianity in the modern age in its dynamics of reform, rupture and disciplining.

2. To understand the emergency, regression and development of missions “ad gentes” in modern and contemporary age, which have given Christianity a worldwide expansion.

3. To characterize the relationship between Christianity and political regimes in absolute monarchies, in 19th century liberal regimes, in totalitarianisms and contemporary democracies.

4. To know the theological, spiritual, celebrative, and organizational configuration of Christianity throughout the period.
