Phenomenology and Hermeneutics of Religion

Knowledge, comprehension: describe the modern emergence of religion as a scientific object; interpret theories of religion; recognize different hermeneutical perspectives; identify the concepts and methods of the Phenomenology of Religion; analyze the religious experience; describe transitions and transformations in selected world religions.

Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing: examine the study of religion as an academic discipline; investigate the nature of sacred and the categories of sacred and religion in human experience; analyze sources and documents of religious traditions

Evaluation and application: examine the significance of religious phenomena from diverse religious and cultural perspectives, and investigates patterns of religious phenomena that have appeared in world cultures and civilizations; examines cultural dimensions of sacred language; evaluates various intellectual approaches and methods used in the study of religious phenomena.
