The symposium, which will take place from April 18 to 20, is a partnership between CITER and the Science of Religion Program at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC SP). The title of this issue is "Religion and Politics: Territories and Frontiers of the Religious Domain".
The event features Portuguese and Brazilian researchers from the promoting institutions and other institutions in Brazil and Portugal and aims to analyze the relationship between religion and politics in the current political situation in the figures of characters, purposes, governments and regimes that ascend across the planet. The presence of religion as the foundation of power challenges the commonplaces of modern political philosophies, re-edits old models and creates unprecedented scenarios.
The event will be online and accepts the submission of communications in working groups.
