- This unit teaches students to scientifically approach the most important canonical part of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Old Testament, called Pentateuch; - This ensures the acquisition of knowledge on the application of hermeneutic tools, in order to understand what the first five books of the Bible intended to mean; - The student learns how to read/interpret the biblical text with scientific criteria, according to the, diachronic and synchronic, exegetical methods; - In this way, students feel more easily how this religious text illuminates the life of contemporary man.
