- Knowledge: specify concepts and put students in contact with the fundamental themes of the Course: inspiration, canon, text and hermeneutics of the text. - Skills and competences: making the distinction between the Bible and the Word of God manifest to students (encompassing the first concept, the second is broader); provide a basic knowledge of the aforementioned themes (inspiration, canon, text and text hermeneutics) and help students to understand the articulation that exists between them; put students in touch with the main sources and translations of the biblical text, as well as with the main Church documents on the Word of God and Scripture.
